WHY I LOVE POY - Part 14

One more pahabol post about my bibi.

One evening, my friend Dong made bilin to get him some strawberry yogurt since me and Poy will go to a supermarket near our flat to get some groceries.

In the yogurt section, there is no more strawberry flavor, only black cherry and apricot are available. With that, I asked husband to call Dong what flavor he prefers. After a while, Poy came to me and said this: “Bi CAPRICOT na lang daw sabi ni Dong.”

Hanu daw yun? Hahaha! Tanggal stress talaga asawa ko! LOL!

WHY I LOVE POY - Part 13

Last two Sundays ago, Poy, my mom, Mimay and I were getting ready to go to Global Village. I will make a separate (long due) post regarding our itineraries last long weekend, but for now, may ke-kwento muna ako about my hubby dear.

After I finish dressing up Mimay, I asked Poy to put on her shoes while I fix myself naman. He agreed but after sometime I heard him talking to our daughter like this:

Poy: anak ano ba naman yang paa mo? para kang piki! hindi na maipasok ni dadee shoes mo. (piki means knock-knee) ang hirap! ayaw na talaga! ano bang problema nyang paa mo neng? piki ka nga ata ah!

I came to see what the commotion is all about and this scenario made me laugh big time.

Grabeng kwela talaga nitong asawa ko! Imagine, ang dami na nya sinabi sa paa ni ineng, nilait lait nya ng bonggang bongga only to find out that he was trying to put on Mimay’s right foot to the left shoe and vice versa.

Aba eh natural hindi papasok ang paa ng anak mo sa shoes nya. Kalurky ka dadee! =)

THE REVELATION

This will surely come as a surprising news to most of you. I have been wanting to share this eversince but I had to wait for the right time. I know you guys are guessing what is that good news I am telling about since last month. Eto na, finally, sasabihin ko na but still not the full details ok? I cannot share everything here for some reasons. Di pa kasi pwede ikwento NGAYON ng bonggang bongga. Papaluin ako ni Poy ;p

But what I’ve been wanting to tell you guys is this: we’re coming back to Pinas, for good! (happy dance & cart wheel!)

Oh yes! After nights of praying to God about His plans for our family, He answered our prayer with the best blessing we have never thought of. His ways are always better than ours talaga. Truly God knows our different situations and He knows best how to bless His children. Amazing God!

Husband and I also realized that it is really part of God’s plan to bring us first here in Dubai because He is preparing something BIG for us especially for my husband. We can never thank Him enough! God is good all the time!

And in weeks time, we will be finally HOME =) I can’t wait!

My mom and daughter just flew back last Saturday to Philippines. My husband will follow next week then I’m next on the first week of December. Everything is happening fast which excites us more. Yet we feel safe and secure. God has directed us to this path and we know this is another one of His many plans to prepare us for something much much BIGGER.

All praises to the living God!

HELP!

Guys I need your help! I’m eyeing to buy this slide I found in Babyshop here in Dubai. It cost around AED 660 or roughly Php 7700 plus the shipment fee of Php 1700 which will sum up to approximately Php 9,400.

I’ve been wanting to buy this for our Mimay but the problem is the space. We have a very limited area in our flat. Malamang sa loob ng toilet malalagay ang slide na to kung nagkataon hehe. So since Mimay will be staying na for good in Pinas (I have yet to finish my post about this, they just arrived this morning in Pinas. Miss u baby! See you soon!), Poy and I decided that this will be a perfect Christmas gift for her.

Now I am thinking if it will be more practical for us to buy it here or sa Pinas na lang. If we’ll get it from here, the shipment would take 45 days or more daw because it’s December, peak season. So most probably it will arrive sa Pinas on January pa. Di na sya Christmas gift pag ganun. But if the price difference is malaki talaga, okay na lang din siguro kahit January pa dumating si slide. But if small lang naman, we’ll buy na lang from Pinas. With this, friends I need your help. Do you have any price idea for the pictured slide? Mga magkano kaya to sa Pinas?

I have once contacted a seller of pre-loved toys in Pinas and they have a slide set with swing also. It’s Php 14,000. Ang mahal daw sabi ni hubby kasi second hand, I told him Little Tikes kasi kaya ganun yung price. But any brand would do daw, basta of good quality.

So now, the search is on for the perfect slide for our kulit. Pls comment if you have any idea.

Thanks a lot!

AFTER THE LONG WEEKEND

Hello guys! I’m back!

I have so many kwento but first, allow me to breathe and savor the first day of work after the long weekend. We had 4 days off! I loveeeet sobra! I had a hard time getting up from the bed this morning. Gusto ko pa matulog! But since that’s not possible, happy thoughts na lang para ganahan ako to go to work.

We had a super fun weekend! I feel so refreshed and recharged. As soon as I finish collating the photos, I will immediately share ‘em all here. I haven’t posted anything yet in my FB too, super relax mode lang talaga ako in that 4 days. But sadly, Mimay had fever so we weren’t able to go out anymore on the last day. But still all in all, it was a fun long weekend!

Let me share to you one of my favorite snap in our trip to Jumeirah. Mimay’s really a big girl now.

Just may I add, did you know that I gained 2.5 kgs since Friday?! Ang OA grabe! Ayoko na nga masyado isipin pero ang hirap eh. Feel na feel ko, ang sakit! Dito oh (points out to heart). Well, I have no one to blame except for myself. Kinareer ko talaga ang paglamon hays. I need to crash diet, now na!

Osha ciao for now! Tapos na pala lunch break namin haha!

PEACE LOVING FOLKS

For the past weeks, aside from the annoying Tangled movie that me and the husband are watching every single night with Mimay, the world for our daughter now revolves with the color pink.

It sore my eyes, really. But just to keep that peace, serenity, tranquility and harmony in the house, we HAVE to give in.

TODAY IS THE DAY

Please excuse me for not updating my blog lately. Just been too busy with lots of things in my life right now. As much as I want to share it here, it’s not the right time yet. But please bear with me, sabi nga ni Poy, everything has the right timing.

First day of November officialy marks the beginning of a big life changing decision not only for me but for our whole family. This has been under prayers for the past weeks. And I know, God is leading us to the path that He wanted for us. I have always believed that God’s plans are better than ours and so we trust everything in Him.

And I know starting today, everything will go well and smooth.
