CHRISTMAS 2011

Allow me to document how we spent our 2011 Xmas. Better ‘super late’ than never, right?
Every Christmas, Poy, Mimay and I usually have a color theme.

Xmas 2009 – White (kami lang pala ni Poy hehe)

Xmas 2010 – Red
Xmas 2011 – Brown

Since Xmas fell on Sunday last year, ratsada kami to the max. We need to see everyone in the family or else tiyak may magtatampo. You all know naman, star ng family ang aming si Mimay so everyone needs to see her especially on Christmas day.
The morning was spent in our church to attend the morning service. We then went to Mimay’s wowa (my Tita Marith which is my mom’s younger sister) in Calamba, then to my in-laws in Majada, next is to my lola’s house in Parian and lastly dinner with my other tito and tita in my kuya’s house in Cabuyao. Ang hectic ng schedule ng bagets, kaloka!

Just wanna share to you some of the gifts received by our baby girl.

Slide set from Mamee Nani and Dadee Poy:
Baby Alive from Ninang Melai:

Rechargeable motor from Ninang Chelo and Ninong Dong aka Ninong Derek:

Cash from her Wowa, Ninang Lady, Mama Dolor, Titos and Titas from Majada, Lola Espie (my MIL) and marami pang iba.

Her Tito Ninis will get her a Converse Chuck Taylor as a post xmas gift.

And ofcourse, BDO junior savings account from her Dadee Poy.
We’re so lucky because our Mimay is so much loved by everyone =)

FOC FOX REUNITED

Written: Friday Feb 3, 2012 2315H
One of the best things about our Pinas come back is ofcourse, the reunion of Foc-Fox. And now, 4 na kami! =)

After 3 long years, we’re full force again, ready to rock en roll haha! My kumareng Lady will be staying also for good here in Pinas with her hubby Eon.

This photo was taken last January 2 in my kuya’s house in Cabuyao. Lady prepared and cooked her special creamy carbonara while Melai ordered a large Yellow Cab pizza. Simple dinner yet full of juicy kwentuhan and tsismisan. Parang 1 week lang kami hindi nagkita kita =)

Then the following Sunday, another bonding session happened in Melai’s branch of Banahaw Heals Spa near Southwoods exit. All of us, including the boys and my mommy, experienced the full body massage which made me forget my name dahil sa sobrang sarap. I promise to come back there to try their other relaxing services and at the same time feature them here in my blog. Advertisement without pay yan mare!

This was taken again in my kuya’s house while we were sharing my mommy’s yummy caldereta over lunch.
Then later that evening, to post celebrate Layd’s birthday, we had burger feast in Hungry Hippo. Their burgers are delicious and very affordable. A meal which has a humongous burger, fries and iced tea is priced at P150-180 only. One downside lang of Hungry Hippo’s branch in Shell SLEX is that their exhaust seems not working properly. Amoy kinulob na itik kami after dining in. I hope they’ll improve on that.

Here’s our Mimay posing with the Hippos!

Over all, it was a super fun day. Can’t wait for our next lamyerda!

IT HAS BEEN ANOTHER WEEK

Written: Friday Feb 3, 2012 2200H

Sorry guys, I didn’t keep my promise to post atleast 1 entry a day. It’s been quite a busy week for me at work. Ang daming meetings, orientations, 1 on 1 schedule and many other else. But ofcourse I am thankful I have work. This is the hardest part lang talaga of joining a new team, a new company. Many adjustments are to be made and I have to learn the current set up and processes. Buti na lang I have the nicest boss and colleagues, everything seems easy because of them. And thank God there’s weekend! We always have something to look forward to and breathe.

On a lighter note, today is our 68th bf/gf monthsary. Grabe 68 months! Ang tagal na pala namin ni Poy since we officialy became mag-bibi =) We had a simple celebration in Chik-Boy. Ganyan pag tumatanda na, liempo at barbeque lang eh katalo na sa monthsary celebration haha!

But it’s the thought that counts actually. The fact that Poy still remembers our bf/gf monthsary is already enough, and not just remember ha? It’s a very special day for him too. Mas madami kiss ko from him every 3rd (bf/gf) and 10th (wedding) of the month. Yiiieee!!

This will be a busy weekend for us, well lagi naman. We’ll go to Samsung tomorrow to have our TV checked. We bought it in Dubai and have it shipped here, problem is, some of the channels have no sounds. One of our friends told us to replace daw the cable to ‘gold cable something’, so hubby bought it but still hindi pa din sya ok. I’m a bit worried because we haven’t used the TV since November. Hopefully, sa settings lang ang problema.

And since it’s Mimay’s 34th month birthday tomorrow (Feb 4), we’ll most probably allow her to play in SM while me and Poy eat siomai outside the playhouse while waiting. After that, we’ll try to squeeze in my driving lesson session with husband. He wanted me to learn to drive, I agree basta automatic lang. Goodluck sa kin, I hope I’ll learn. But you know, I really want to drive eversince. I can drive but the problem is pag may kasabay na ko sa daan, ayun nervousness to the next level ang drama ko. So please join me in prayer that I’ll get over the kaba and all.

Then on Sunday, ofcourse we’ll attend the church service in the morning then have our lunch to my lola’s house to visit her and at the same time celebrate my tita/ninang’s birthday there. After lunch, we’ll go visit our future abode in Silang Cavite together with my other Tita’s and my siblings. I’ll make a separate post about it! If we’re friends in FB I’m sure you already had a glimpse of our “dikdik”, that’s how we call our future house. I’ll let you know why on my next post. And since dikdik is just one tumbling away from Nuvali, I’ll treat my family over early dinner in celebration of my first salary in Maxim hehe.

Hiningal ba kayo sa weekend schedule namin? Mas lalo ako haha! Ganyan kami mag rest day ng family ko. Bakit ba kasi hindi nauso dito sa Pinas yung 3 days work lang in a week para rest day yung 4 days. Pag nangyari yun, malamang walang laman bank account namin kasi wala na kami gagawin kundi mag lamyerda haha!

Happy weekend everyone! Take this opportunity to bond with your loved ones! =)

BLACKMAIL VIDS

If we’re friends in FB, most probably you have already seen the videos of our baby girl. And I’m 99.9% sure, our Mimay made you smile because of her kakirihan.

33 months lang po yan pero mukha ng 33 years old lol :)

Isa lang masasabi ko, ang lakas ng dugo ko! Tingnan nyo naman, akong ako eh =)

I just have to post this para may pambawi ako sa anak ko paglaki nya. Subukan nya paligaw ng maaga, papakita ko mga videos na to sa suitors nya, ewan ko na lang kung ituloy pa nila panliligaw mwahahaha!!

MONDAY NA MONDAY

What a way to start the work week. I was late this morning to our shuttle pick up in Carmona. We stayed kasi in my ate’s house in Sto. Tomas Batangas last night actually hanggang ngayon and we mis-calculated the driving time from Sto. Tomas to Carmona. So ayun, hinabol ni Poy yung shuttle namin and luckily naabutan naman nya in GMA Cavite area.

Okay na sana because nakahabol ako at nakasabay sa shuttle, may problema lang.

Eto oh:
Haha! Semi-formal lang ang peg. Office attire sabay naka violet crocs! Super hiyang hiya ako sa shuttle bus namin kanina grabe. Feeling ko nakatingin sila lahat sa paa ko, jahe!

Sa sobrang pagmamadali ko kasi, I forgot to change to my office shoes. Buti na lang, we are required in our office to change from street shoes to an anti-static shoes like this.
Lesson learned talaga.

But nevertheless, it was a lovely and beautiful Monday for me, hope for all of u too!=)

WORKING MOM AGAIN

But this time, not in Dubai anymore :) Yes dear readers, this is one of the blessings I was talking about in my previous posts months back. Regarding the blessing for husband, I am not allowed to disclose it for now. Hmp bawal pa daw muna kasi. But what’s good is that Poy’s here with us in Pinas as well. Complete happy Aguilar family once again, but this time, sa Pinas na. No more visa issues, no more yaya dilemma, no more weather problem, etc.

Going back to my kwento, I am very happy to inform all of you guys that I am once again part of the Philippine labor force. Helllooo bonggang tax!

June last year, I sent my CV to some of my friends in Pinas just incase they know vacancies fitted for me. As you know very well that time, we were having some issues on my mom’s residence visa. Very impractical kasi if she’ll stay lang for 3 months then balik to Pinas and back to Dubai again. So one of my resort is to look for a job in Pinas which can sustain and support our financial needs at the same time. September came and my friend/ kumare informed me that they are in need of a Senior Buyer. After some days, the HR sent me an invitation for a Skype interview. Weeks after, another skype interview was scheduled with the Purchasing Director and plant VP and the rest is history =)

I am now officially part of the Purchasing Team of an American semicon company in Cavite. God is really good and once again proved to our family that His promises are true. Because nothing is impossible in prayers and that everything has a reason. Kaya pala may issue sa visa ng mommy ko in Dubai it's because God has better plans for us.

Why did I share all these? It is because I want all of you to know that eventhough at times God answers our prayers in a different way, He has a very good reason for it. Just like what I always write here, God’s plans are always better than ours.

I am so excited with my new job. Aside from the very competitive package that they offered to me, ang bongga ng working area ko! I so love it! I have a separate cubicle kasi with spacious tables. Take note, tables with S hehe. Ang sarap mag work because I feel so relax and peaceful and I can concentrate well, wala ko makausap eh haha! Other staffs are outside so I really need to exert effort para lang may makausap. Aside pa from my comfortable cube, what’s even more bongga are my new officemates. They’re all nice and very welcoming! They’re all very mabait to me =)

This is me with my baby before I go to work at around 7am in the morning:

I can say that I am on the happiest state of my life right now. I have a very loving husband, biba and pretty daughter, supportive family and a promising career. I just pray that God will keep us humble at all times. I want to thank the Lord for everything coz I know that I am truly nothing without Him.

WELCOME NANI, WELCOME 2012!

I honestly don’t know how to start my comeback and first blog post for 2012. Parang ang hirap to collate all my thoughts and sangkatutak na stories in a single entry. But you know guys, for the past 2 months that I wasn’t able to blog and write, I felt so incomplete. Alam mo yung feeling na lumabas ka ng bahay na walang panty?! Ganun! Kulang talaga ang buhay without me sharing my everyday life with all of you. Belated Happy 2012! Na-miss ko kayo sobra. I hope na-miss nyo din ako.

Sobra ko kasi ninamnam ang aking vacation. Holidays pa kaya double ang happiness because I was able to spend it with my family dahil most of the time wala din silang pasok last December. Super bonding din kami ng aking Mimay, 24/7 kami together, loveeet! So please forgive me kung zero post talaga ako ha? Pero aside from that, our internet connection should be blamed. Yun talaga yung main culprit! Pano naman ako gaganahan mag blog ng wala naman kmi internet?!

But now that I’m back to being a working mommy, I promise to blog again! Yey! Watch out for my daily dose of kwento starting today. I will try my very best to squeeze in atleast 1 post every day. Since I cannot open blogger.com in office, I will type away my thoughts in a word document and just transfer it in blogger when I got home. Oh db resourceful? =)

For the meantime, I will leave you some of our latest family photos and watch me grow bigger and bigger! Kaloka ang holidays, hindi ko na ma-zipper mga pants ko!
See you guys in a bit! I miss you all!!!

Mwaah mwaah tsup tsup! ;p
