NANIPOY HONEYMOON PART 2: BOHOL

After 25 years, finally I was able to find time to blog the 2nd part of our honeymoon. Straight from Palawan, we had an afternoon flight to Cebu. We opted to go to Cebu first and tried the fast ferry going to Bohol. Maiba lang :)

We didn’t stay in Cebu anymore because hubby and I have been there already during our first few landian months. Cebu was actually our first out of town trip together =) But I promise to come back there again, because I want to experience the Sky Walk Extreme. Wala pa nun when we went there.

Upon arriving Bohol, we were greeted in the Tagbilaran port by the Boholano driver of Alona Tropical Resort. We have booked our 3 days, 2 nights in the said resort as recommended by my sister friend Abby. Pick up and drop off from the port/airport is included in the package. It was a good 20-30 minutes ride from the port to Panglao Island where the resort is located.

As soon as we arrive, we immediately made tambay in the serene beach. The fresh air is indeed very calming. Then had our dinner overlooking the beach, hay ang sarap!

Our stay in Alona Tropical Resort is very sulit because the place is clean and refreshing and at the same time rates are budget friendly. I love their beachfront! We stayed in their Deluxe Aircon room which is made from bamboos and nipa hut.

The resort also has a cozy swimming pool which hubby and I get to enjoy too.

As much as we wanted to stay lang sana in the resort and enjoy each other, we needed to see the beautiful places in Bohol. Sayang naman because we’re there na. So on our 2nd day, we rented a car with private driver and roam in the city of Tagbilaran. Our itineraries include visits in:

Blood Compact Shrine

Baclayon Church

Lunch in Floating Restaurant, Loboc River
Tarsier Encounter

Hanging Bridge
Man-made Forest
And ofcourse, the Chocolate Hills!
We also get to see the basketball court where Cesar Montano used to play, so what??? Hehe. Crush ko kasi sya so I was partly kinikilig imagining that Cesar was there ;p Luka much lang!
Right after the city tour, we made sure to spend our remaining days in Bohol by just lounging in the beach and in our room. Di kaya sya makalakad after LOL!
It was surely one the best vacations Poy and I had. Our honeymoon preparations were all worth it. I just wanna say thanks to my bibi for making all these possible.

Flight back to Laguna

Fyi, Mimay is not a honeymoon baby. Kainis nga eh. Career to the max pa naman kami haha! So the following month, mas lalo namin kinareer, and there was light, este Mimay pala =)

I HAVE A KWENTO

Kelan ba naman nawalan? Pinaglihi kasi ako ng mommy ko sa puwet ng manok, so I was really inborn madaldal :) So here it goes…

The other night, we went out for dinner. This particular fastfood that we went to has a play area which made our Mimay super happy. While hubby was ordering and my mom seated on our table, Mimay and I went in the play area in the 2nd floor. I let her explore the slide & the play house. Then I notice people keep on arriving in the 2nd floor and there were sound sytem, etc. After asking one lady, I learned that a Christian service pala was held every Monday night and Friday there. So I told her that I’m a born again Christian too. She was really giddy to know that, hence her invitation.

ate: sis we have service tonight, baka gusto mo umattend. may kasama ka ba?
me: ahhm yes, nasa baba sila naorder pa.

then mimay came running towards me and hugged my legs.

ate to mimay: hi baby! ang ganda mo naman.
ate to me: ganda ng pamangkin mo. ilang taon na?
me: she’s two and she’s my daughter.
me: (smiles shyly) wow thanks. baka maniwala ako haha!

do i look like a tita to Mimay? ;)

One more pa. I have a new girl office mate. One day when we were in the pantry, she came to me.

officemate: hi! Jhanil right?
me: hello! yup it’s Jhanil. welcome to CMS!
officemate: thanks! oh by the way, your niece looks very adorable in her pose. she’s so pretty!
me: huh? my niece?
officemate: yes! I saw her photo in your table the other day.
me: Oh I see! she’s not my niece, she’s my daughter.
officemate: really your daughter? you’re joking! you’re married?
me: yes! and she’s really my daughter. her name is mimay.
officemate: I can’t believe it! u look young, and it doesn’t look that you’re married and has a daughter.
me: haha thank you so much! you made my day haha!

Hindi sa pagyayabang, that happened many times na. Parang gusto ko na tuloy maniwala lol!

SABI KO NA EH!

This comment to one of my FB photos from my Sumiden friend Ate My, really made my day! Ate My, thanks for your honesty. You really made me smile bigtime, ewan ko lang si Poy haha!

I so know that the day will come where you guys will notice that Mimay is starting to look like her Mamee. And Im just too happy because that day has finally come! Mwahahahahaha!!!

Sabi ko sa inyo eh, wait lang kayo and it will come out naturally. Ako talaga kamukha ni Mimay. So now, wait pa kayo more. Ilang years pa, akong ako na talaga lahat ng features nyan haha!

HAPPY 30TH BABY!

Last October 4, we celebrated the 30th month bday of our baby. I can’t stop pinching myself that our once tiny baby is 2.5 years already. Ang bilis sobra! Everything was just like yesterday.

It was a double celebration with hubby’s recent driving license acquisition. We had a simple merienda in our flat together with our Dubai friends.

Mimay kept on blowing and blowing the candle in her cake. Nonstop. Thanks Tita Carl for your patience in taking the photos!

Hay time flies really really fast! Our Mimay is all grown up now. We’re just so happy and proud of her. She’s becoming more and more biba and malambing everyday. She always wants to stay beside me and Poy. She always wants to sit in my lap everytime we’re eating. She always says I love you. She loves to cuddle. She would always ask me to kiss her.  Such a sweet baby! We’re so inlove with her.

Happy 30th month anak! Mamee and Dadee love you more than words can say!

DUBAI DRIVE

Remember my kwento about my dear hubby finally having his driving license here in Dubai? Oh he was so excited that he had to borrow their company car last weekend.

Here’s my yummy bibi in the driver’s seat. He hasn’t drive since we came here in Dubai, which is almost 1.5 years already, ngayon na lang ulit.

Since this is a very momentous occasion, I had to blog this and dapat mag piktyuran for souvenirs.

And because ispeyshal moment nga, dapat pati attire ispeyshal. :)

Si ineng bumo-boots anson roa sa Dubai. Anak ikaw na!

WHY I LOVE POY - Part 12

Yesterday in the car, out of the blue Mimay asked her naynay.

Mimay: naynay tito ninis asawa ninang telo?

We all laugh of what Mimay said, except for Poy. Serious sya the whole time we’re having this conversation. Then suddenly he butts in.

ALL ABOUT TRUSTING GOD

I don’t know how to start this post. I don’t know how to share it without divulging the whole story. I can’t share it here yet because I don’t want to jinx it. Remember my post about me speaking too soon? But this has still something to do with that good news that I blog the other week.

This will just be short. I just thought of sharing this because I want to testify that really God moves in the most impossible time of our lives. For so many instances in my life, I have proven that. Just like today, I prayed something to Him and immediately He responded exactly how I asked it. Galing galing! He truly listens.

To conclude, this entry is for all of you guys out there who’s been asking, wanting and seeking for something in your situation right now. Tiwala lang sa Lord. He is always able and His plans are always better than ours. Just entrust to Him everything and He will surely take charge.

May this post be an inspiration to you.

Trust in the Lord and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him. (Psalm 37:3-5, 7a)
